I have added a couple of additions to our family cookbook.

Found recipe in COOKING LIGHT that is yummy and definitely healthy-er:

QUICK BANANA BREAD
Combine:

¾ c white flour

¾ c whole –wheat flour

¼ c flaxseed meal

1 t baking powder

½ t salt

Combine:

1 c mashed ripe banana

2/4 c sugar

½ c plain low-fat yogurt

¼ c canola oil

 Mix with flour mixture and add ½ c walnuts

Coat loaf pan with cooking spray and pour in batter

Bake at 325* for one hour and 15 minutes or so.
